Hospitality Management Programmes are widely recognised by universities as offering equivalency to degree level study.
Level 4 Diploma and Level 5 Diploma graduates may therefore gain direct entry to the second or final year of a variety of hospitality and tourism degree programmes.

Similarly, Level 7 Diploma graduates may enter the final stages of a MBA.

Level 5 Diploma can gain entry (subject to application) onto the final year of Bournemouth University’s Hospitality and Tourism Degree programmes.

component), for entry onto these programmes.

University of West London represented the UK in the finals of the ‘European Hotel School of the Year’ competition and they are previous winners of the Hospitality Partnership Award for their contribution.

Students can progress onto the second or final year of the BA (Hons) in Hospitality and Tourism Studies as appropriate.

Students completing the Level 5 Diploma programmes in Tourism Management or Hotel Management can progress on to the final year of The Middlesex University Dubai BA (Hons) in Hospitality Management and Tourism or BA (Hons) or Hospitality Management.

The University College Birmingham accepts successful Level 4 students on to their second or Level 5 students  to the final year BA (Hons) International Hospitality and Tourism Business Development degree as appropriate. Students receive their degree from the University of Birmingham.


University of Sunderland















The University was also ranked as 3rd best in terms of teaching satisfaction. Students who have passed the Level 5 Diploma in Tourism or Hotel Management can progress on to study the final year of the BSc (Hons) International Tourism and Hospitality Management awarded by the University of Sunderland, at a number of colleges in the UK.


London South Bank University












Students can apply for entry onto the second or final year of the BA (Hons) Tourism and Hospitality Programme as appropriate.
Level 5 Diploma graduates with two or more years of relevant work experience can apply to study the LSBU MSc in International Tourism and Hospitality Management. 


Edith Cowan University Australia












Edith Cowan University is Western Australia’s second largest university with approximately 23,000 students, including in excess of 3,000 students originating from more than 80 countries.

The University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) has been ranked 3rd in the UK in the subject category for Hospitality, Leisure, Recreation and Tourism by the Times Good University Guide for 2013
